GOBELSBURGER LÖSSTERRASSEN
Loess terraces are the classical image of the Kamptal. Soft hills around Langenlois represent the fading Waldviertel. Loess is a soil structure, which was built up the last hundred thousand years. Winds brought the tiny particles from the alpine areas to the Region, which defines the high content of chalk in our soil. Loess suits perfectly to Grüner Veltliner in its need for good water supply and brings wines with a fine and peppery note.
